Training and Workflow Optimization

Generic eCW training teaches the software. We teach your build: your templates, your order sets, your billing rules, the way your front desk actually checks a patient in. Then we remove the steps that should not be there.

Scope of work

What we cover

Delivered remotely in short role specific sessions, or on site for go lives and acquisitions.

  • Provider sessionsDocumentation speed inside your own templates: structured capture, order sets, preference lists, note closure, and the shortcuts that survive an upgrade.
  • Front desk and schedulingRegistration accuracy, insurance verification, eligibility, referral capture and the demographic fields that later determine whether a claim pays.
  • Billing and revenue cycleClaim scrubbing, denial handling, ERA posting, refund workflow, and the eCW screens where money actually gets lost.
  • Nursing and clinical supportIntake, vitals, medication reconciliation, orders and results routing, and standing order handling.
  • Workflow redesignWe observe the real path a patient and a claim take through your system, then cut steps. Fewer clicks beats a new policy every time.
  • Onboarding programA repeatable first week for new hires, built from your own build, so training does not mean shadowing whoever is least busy.

Deliverables

What you keep afterward

Training that leaves nothing behind gets undone within a quarter.

01 · Role based quick guidesShort, screenshot led guides for each role, written against your build rather than generic documentation.
02 · Workflow mapsBefore and after diagrams of patient flow and claim flow, with the removed steps marked.
03 · Recorded sessionsYour sessions recorded and organized by role so new hires can start before the next live class.
04 · Onboarding checklistDay one to day five, with the specific eCW tasks each role must demonstrate.
05 · Adoption reportWhere the new workflow is being followed and where it is not, measured from eCW data rather than opinions.
06 · Super user planThe internal people who will hold this together, and what they need to know to do it.

Before you call

Common questions

Our staff has used eCW for years. Do they need training?

They need the parts of your build they were never shown. Long tenured users are usually the most efficient at the workflow they invented in year one, and unaware of the three features that would replace it.

Is training remote or on site?

Remote for most role based sessions, which keeps sessions short and lets us record them. On site for go lives, acquisitions and workflow observation.

How long before we see a difference?

Workflow changes show up in eCW data within a few weeks: note closure times, unsigned encounter counts, registration error rates. We measure the same metrics before and after.
